Reflection

I thought Mrs. Quinn’s Class was a very challenging, yet rewarding class. She had us set SMART goals that’s helped us complete the class. They also helped us succeed and hold ourselves accountable for our victories and failures. A good example of the SMART goals I would set for myself would be, “I will study my homework for an hour and a half a day. I will also know the information well enough to reach a grade of 90 or higher on the Module Test. I will also complete the homework a day earlier so I do not feel rushed and to help with my anxiety.” Setting these goals helped me in many ways. I would suggest any student with every class to set them every week. They help keep me on track and understand what I am working towards. Little goals always lead to big goals.
I would suggest for myself to continue the SMART goals mentioned earlier. I would say the best thing that has helped me succeed in this class is do always do extra problems if I was struggling with the material. And to also not be let down when I receive a score lower than what I thought I would have gotten. You can always do better later. Also, never be afraid to ask for help. The resources I would suggest would be to always stay organized. To keep my notes and homework organized so I can review easily. Also, to review them any time I can. I keep my note books in my car so I can review them easily.

Most of the time I just force myself to focus to stay motivated and on track. I normally separate myself from everything so I can focus. I can get distracted easily when doing homework. I stay on track by trying to get ahead. It does not always happen. But I always set specific times to work on it and set alarms on my phone. Not always, of course. I am human, and struggle sometimes.
I have learned to always keep ahead. And that can be used in work and in life. It’s better to get things done before the deadline is here. I will also try to stay as organized as possible.
