​Reflection

My signature assignment was on assessing a career as a Administrative nurse director. By completing this assignment I learned many things about being an administrative nurse director. They do a lot of things and some things I had completely overlooked that they do, like budgeting the money  for the patients accounts. I think the most helpful thing I found completely the assessment, was that interviewing really gave you a better idea of the career. On paper, we can fantasize about what we think the career would be like. But, in reality, it could be a completely different story. During my interviews, many of the directors told me they thought I would be a wonderful fit to be director. I, on the other hand, am not quite sure. I enjoy making the patients happy, and if I were to become one, I would hardly see them. I enjoy the interaction with them. That's why, in the end I do not think this specific career path is the one for me.
