Signature Assignment
Scientists having been wondering about human life and the element that impact that chain and what could be done to prove and cause life in other planets. Scientists point towards Carbon. Carbon is part of our DNA and it part of the proteins polymer that most lifeforms are based on. That being said, scientists are leaning towards the idea that carbon is the base of all life. Scientists know that this does have some impact with other elements, but carbon is more stable and is more reactive with oxygen, which helps confirm their idea.
They have tired to consider other potential elements which, for the predecessor, they are leaning towards silicon. I can be found in plant life and has a large connection with outer space. Silicon also has similarities with carbon on how it can combine with oxygen. But it does have its draw backs. It struggles to make bonds and is much less stable.
Carbon is winning in the race for being the main element that they believe life is based from. They also bring to light that baron has is easy for plants to make sugar for to help with the environment. Scientists are still trying to find more data to help with their theory and are sending light rays to help measure how much of an element could be at another planet. Since they can’t travel that far they use light to measure. Scientist are trying to help evolve new life to find other mean of what can help end the argument of which element is the base of life and potential prove life at other planets.
Many would like to argue that oxygen is the main element in life. It is necessary for most life to breath. Some scientists found that there are 25 elements that are involved with making human life essential. Carbon, Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Nitrogen make up 96 percent of your body. 3.5 percent on the body contains calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and Magnesium. Other small elements contain the other 0.5 percent. All of these are many combinations of biochemical molecules.
Elements structures including glucose contain 6 carbon atoms, 12 hydrogen atoms and 6 oxygen atoms are needed to which produces energy for the human body. Each combinations of elements are an important part of life. Iron is important in blood which helps carry oxygen throughout the body. Cooper helps with combining with proteins in the body to help muscles move throughout our daily functions.
Another argument to be made is that carbon is the most important because it forms covalent bonds with other atoms and molecules. It is also a main key in Carbohydrate that are macromolecules which also help provide energy to the system of our body to function. Its formula is one carbon atom bonded to two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen.
Science is always changing over time and there could be new elements that we have not yet discovered. Considerations that there could be other life on other plants that have elements that could change how the elements interact. Developing science is also trying to create new life with elements. This could also be considered with developing embryo growth for genetic control.

Reflection
Chemistry has helped me to see the molecules and elements that help life. We use many elements to help change things for patients in the medical field. We try to encourage them to watch how many carbohydrates they eat to help lost weight. We provide them oxygen to help supply the blood with a normal saturation level. We also use sodium chlorine to help flush vaccinations and provide intravenous fluids for patients. Medications are also made with the combinations of these bonds to help others who could be going through pain and to help balance chemicals that can react in the body.
Chemistry involves the H20 that you drink or the physical changes we make to water when we make our macaroni and cheese. Chemistry has a different way of looking at the world through the molecules and bonds that have made the atoms that surround us. Chemistry is challenging when it comes to trying to write their bond through valence electrons. Or how some bonds even fail with limited elements that are trying to balance out the equation.
Chemistry only seems at first like a list of table of elements. Many of which you could name off hand like iron, gold, silver, and titanium. Chemistry has been able to help me see all the chemicals and element bonds we to help others. Balancing these equations can be difficult. I struggled being able to figure out how they would bond together. But chemistry also gives us other information that is important.
Another thing that is really beautiful about chemistry is the fireworks that we light every year to celebrate freedom and love for the country. Many of the ultraviolet lights we see are certain chemicals that we can identify just by color. Orange is calcium, white is magnesium, red is strontium, blue is cooper, yellow is sodium, and violet is a combination of strontium and cooper. I look forward to being able to identify these the next time I watch them.
I also was able to try some new study ways that helped me a lot to learn chemistry. I never really knew about the snipping tool through Microsoft before this course started. Its where you can copy information through a picture and then apply it onto a word document. Trying to write everything for class and copying it down can be very time tasking. Unfortunately, I never knew about the snipping tool until much later in the course. But I feel it would have been a large time saver during my course. When studying for my final, I used the snipping tool to put together a study review page of snips and it helps me be able to review equations for finding temperate, for example, that are changed due to chemical change and making new compounds.
Chemistry helps me to understand the medical field more and the impacts we can make through pharmaceuticals. New bonds and combinations can be used to save lives. This chemistry course has also helped me to find new ways of studying that I may have not known about before. I will also look forward to seeing the chemicals in fireworks.
